million people in the world are obese. Physios provide exercise prescriptions to help people keep fit and maintain healthy weight.

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession with a science foundation. Chartered Physiotherapists work autonomously and are able to diagnose and treat a range of conditions to help restore movement and function to as near normal as possible.

All MSK physios have graduate degrees in physiotherapy and have undertaken specialist postgraduate training in the management of musculoskeletal conditions. We supplement this with a continuing programme of in-house training ensuring that your physiotherapist can offer you a diverse range of safe and effective physiotherapy treatments and techniques.

We specialise in assessing and treating musculoskeletal disorders. Musculoskeletal disorders are problems with bones, joints, ligaments, muscles and tendons, usually causing pain or discomfort and limiting movement and function.

The aim of your initial appointment with one of our physiotherapists
is to determine the cause and nature of your problem and to establish what outcome you want to achieve. To do this, your physiotherapist will ask you a series of questions and examine the problem area. Once the problem is identified, your physiotherapist will explain it to you and discuss the relevant physiotherapy treatments that are available.
